Don was born and raised in a medium-sized city (Evansville) in the state of Indiana in the United States. He was blessed by being raised in a Christian family where he attended church weekly, and by God’s grace, became a Christian at the age of 12. He received a B. Sc. in Business Management with a minor in Marketing from the University of Southern Indiana in Evansville. After 11 years in the business world working in finance at banks and hospitals, Don returned to school to earn a Master of Divinity degree from Covenant Theological Seminary in St. Louis, Missouri. Before becoming the pastor at Woodgreen in August 2019, Don served 7 years as a solo pastor in Baton Rouge, Louisiana; 7 ½ years as an associate pastor in Edwardsville, Illinois; 3 ½ years as a solo pastor in Vincennes, Indiana; and 2 ½ years as an assistant pastor in Marco Island, FL. Don is grateful to Jesus Christ, his Lord and Saviour, for His own salvation, and for the privilege of telling others about Jesus and in helping those who know Jesus to grow in their love and knowledge of Jesus. Don is married to his wife, Genie, and they are enjoying living in Canada. Don and Genie have been blessed with 4 grown children, of which 3 are married.
