ESL at Woodgreen

ESL at Woodgreen is an opportunity to practice English in a relaxed and friendly environment. We offer
classes:

* In-person Beginner (Level 1) Tuesday 6:30-7:30 pm

* In-person Beginner (Level 2-4) Tuesday 7:30-9-00 pm

* In-person Intermediate Tuesday 7:30-9:00 pm

Online Beginner (Level 1-2) Zoom Thursday 6:15-7:15 pm

Online Beginner (Level 3-4) Zoom Thursday 7:30-9:00 pm

(FULL) Online Intermediate Zoom Thursday 7:30-9:00 pm

Online Conversation Zoom Thursday 7:30-9:00 pm

There is an online Bible Study via Zoom on Wednesday afternoons 1:30-3:00 for anyone interested in
exploring Christianity.

There is also an online Bible Study via Zoom on Thursday afternoons 1:30-3:00 studying The Book of
Acts. These classes are free, weekly events.

Overview:

The biggest challenge in learning English is having plenty of opportunity to practice using it. Each week
we offer classes with volunteers who enjoy meeting new people and understand what it is like to live
and adjust to a different culture and society. They are here because they care about you.

We offer beginning, intermediate, and conversation classes as well as a Bible Studies for anyone
interested in learning English while exploring Christianity. Our beginning and intermediate classes
include vocabulary development, and grammar instruction as well as plenty of opportunities to
practice speaking English. We may ask you to purchase a workbook for the intermediate
classes. Our conversation class focuses on conversational English and uses discussion sheets to help
participants explore different topics each week.
